Answer To Question 1: We do not have specific leaflets that we give out. For emollients we tell them to apply generously and to use more than they think they need. | |
Question Number 2: What advice does our hospital’s dermatology department issue to patients with eczema regarding the amount of steroid cream/ointment that should be applied to patients? Please provide examples of the advice if the answers are affirmative, please attach any leaflets | |
Answer To Question 2: For steroids we tell them to use the finger tip units- 1 unit covers space of 2 hands, as per BAD guidelines. | |
