Answer To Question 6: The Trust do not pay out compensation this goes via the NHSR - https://resolution.nhs.uk/ unless they were under a DOLS and then died /were injured such a claim would be rare | |
Question Number 7: - One-to-One Support for Fall Risk Patients: The average cost per patient, per day, for one-to-one support provided to patients at risk of falls? | |
Answer To Question 7: The Trust will assess each patient for a risk of a fall on an individual basis and the amount of supervision will depend on this assessment. The Trust uses a combination of techniques to manage the patient in a safe manner. If 1:1 support were required then a Band 3 Healthcare Support assistant is likely to be used. The full cost of using a member of staff during normal weekly working hours, including on-cost, is between £15.14-£16.19 per hour The Trust does not maintain records to identify what the average cost per patient would be for a risk of fall on a daily basis. | |
